Christ Gospel Church of Fayetteville

The basis of our ministries is to "Have Enough Loving People Serving" in the Christ Gospel Church of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Our goal is to "maximize the quality of living while maintaining the moral values expressed in the Word of God."

DEACONS/DEACONESS

The role of the Deacons/Deaconess has been proven over centuries to be the backbone in the local church and community. Church members could depend upon the Deacon/Deaconess whether it be in prayer, home visitation, at the hospital, during bereavement, or financial needs, etc. Our mission supports the vision of Christ Gospel Church of Fayetteville; to offer benevolence to families both spiritually and naturally; and to be a prayer covering to our pastors, leaders, and church body as a whole. I Tim. 3: 8-13. One of our goals is to plan and implement two food drives each year. These food drives will be around Thanksgiving and Christmas time when the need for help seems to be greater for families.

The CGC Nurses' Board started as a small ministry devoted to attending to our pastor's needs. The Board then grew and expanded its ministry to become the CGC Health Ministry. Our ministry is devoted to servitude towards our pastors, assistant pastors, youth pastors, ministers, musicians and our congregation as a whole. The Health Ministry is promoting our church's health and safety through various activities such as conducting health seminars, educating members on health topics, and updating first aid kits.

The Hospitality Committee supports the vision of our Pastor, which is to ensure that every visitor experience an atmosphere of love, fellowship and sense of belonging when they enter our sanctuary. We warmly greet everyone and express our appreciation to them for choosing our church family to join in worship. We provide information about our church and pray over every prayer request. We feel that as you enter Christ Gospel Church, your relationship will us begins as you experience the exuberance of the praise and worship service and continues with the comfort that comes from hearing the Word of God. We join with our Leaders in ensuring that everyone who visits our church leaves with a positive attitude of "I will definitely return." When called upon we plan and implement social events pertaining to the church. We provide a welcome service to visiting ministers to make their visit with us comfortable by providing lunch and whatever services the Pastor finds necessary. Wherefore, receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. Romans 15:7.

Our children will become skilled in quoting the Word of God and competing with other youth around the country.

LABS Four) Prayer Warrior Classes - Power packed lessons on the authority of prayer.

(LABS Five) New Member Classes - These classes are designed to share basic information about the Crucified Way.

Pastor Godbolt has been involved in church growth and development for many years. Many pastors and their church leaders have been blessed by these seminars and workshops. The objective of the workshops is to empower the leaders in each local auxiliary to become visionaries to promote the mission of their local church. It is imperative that each church has a mission statement that expresses the heart of the pastor and encompasses the great commission of Matthew 28: 19, 20. Pastor Godbolt employs up-to-date business strategies that are biblically sound to help each church leader move to the next level in their respective positions.
